We are in love with skiing and snowboarding, and also with sharing wonderful moments in the mountains with new friends.
That’s why we bring you this adventure in the Tena Valley and Formigal, in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, where we will live an experience of snow, party and lots of laughter.
In addition, we can live unique experiences such as relaxing in a hot springs surrounded by snowy mountains or have an adventure with snowmobiles through the forests of the valley.
Will you join us?
This trip is designed for lovers of skiing and snowboarding but also for those who have never practiced these sports before but want to learn and enjoy the mountain, so you know, this trip is suitable for everyone!
In collaboration with ‘GdM’ and given the nature of this trip, the groups will consist of a maximum of 20 travelers and our guides and travellers would be English speakers.
It will be an intense trip where we will ski 3 days in a row, but everyone sets their own pace. Are you one of those who don’t stop skiing even for lunch? Or maybe you are one of those who prefer the famous Marchica apres-ski with some beers? It’s your choice!
Nomad Bee and Guiris de Mierda join their forces again to offer this Formigal Ski&Party trip, an amazing mountain experience in Spain, to all of you daring and adventurous individuals.
Of course you can! This trip is for both pros and people who have never skied before. You will have the option to rent all the equipment and have lessons with a ski instructor if you need it.
We love this mix between enjoying exciting winter sports and the mountains; and also being able to combine it with the spectacular atmosphere of Formigal, Marchica and the beauty of the stunning Tena Valley, its magical villages, forests and breathtaking mountains.
Our adventure finally begins in one of the most beautiful valleys in Spain, the Tena Valley, with its impressive mountains, the beautiful Bubal dam with its turquoise waters and its charming villages such as Sallent de Gállego or Formigal.
Today you will arrive at the meeting point, our accommodation for these days, where the coordinator will be waiting for you. Transport is not included and you can arrive by car, BlaBlaCar or public transport.
Today will also be the day to meet our fellow travellers and have the first briefing about the state of the snow, the itinerary of these days, the welcome dinner and the first beers.
The adventure begins!
Today our first day of action and snow awaits us. We’ll take our first runs down the mountain, enjoying the ski slopes.
If it’s your first time, don’t worry, you can hire the equipment you need or book ski or snowboard lessons.
Today we will get to know the different areas of this magnificent ski resort such as Sextas, for beginners; Anayet, ideal for intermediate skiers with alpine landscapes; Portalet, more technical and perfect for freeride; and Sarrios.
137 kilometres of pistes await us!
After a day full of adrenaline, we relax with a good dinner and a few beers in the evening in one of the local bars.
The slopes of Formigal await us again, but this time with more confidence and enthusiasm. The snow is glistening in the sunshine, and you know what to expect: more turns, more jumps and, of course, more adrenaline! Every descent is an opportunity to excel yourself, whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, sharing laughs with others.
And in the afternoon… the most awaited moment for those who like to go out! We get ready for Marchica, the famous après-ski in Formigal. What better way to end a day full of emotions than with a party in the snow?
Pure enjoyment and an atmosphere that we won’t forget. We dance, sing and enjoy the night with all the spirit of Guiris de Mierda and Nomad Bee.
Today is a day to take it as you like. If after two days of intense skiing you need a bit of peace and quiet, this is the perfect time to relax, enjoy a quieter morning in the snow.
But if you still have energy and want to make the most of it, the slopes of Formigal are there for you to continue skiing or snowboarding.
Today we propose two very special experiences: (not included in the Nomad Bee Pack)
Relaxing at the Panticosa spa, in the famous Tiberio thermal baths surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The perfect plan to disconnect, release tension and recharge your batteries in an idyllic setting.
Or you can go on a snowmobile adventure through the forests and mountains of Panticosa.
In the evening we will share the last dinner where we will discuss the funniest stories of the trip or if you still feel like it, we can go out to enjoy more nightlife.
It’s time to say goodbye and say goodbye to our companions of descents and adventures. Every time we think of the Tena Valley, we will remember with a smile those dreamy descents through the mountains and those wonderful landscapes and moments.
But above all of the new friends who share the same passion for snow, travel and making friends as we do.
See you on the next adventure!

We are an adventure travel agency, we create experiences that you will never forget, and we are sure you will repeat. BUT, it is important that our trips fit you and that you fit with the way we travel.
Two weeks before the trip, the coordinator will create the group with all the participants of the trip. However, if you want to contact your travel companions in advance, you can join our Facebook group to get to know each other and stay informed about all offers, new itineraries, and news from Nomad Bee.
Is transport included?
Transportation to the meeting point is not included in the rate. You have complete freedom when choosing which way to get to the mmeting point and times that best suit you. You can even arrive a day before the trip date or stay a few more days once our trip is over.
How does the common fund work?
The common fund is the money we will use throughout the itinerary for the expenses of all participants, such as local transport, tickets, extra activities… for each trip, we establish an estimated pot that may vary slightly depending on the extra activities we want to do or not. It is used to facilitate the management of payments on-site, and the expenses for meals and drinks will not be managed with this pot. On the first day of the trip, the coordinator will collect the common fund in local currency and will be in charge of its management.
What role does the trip coordinator play?
In all Nomad Bee trips, there will be a coordinator or group leader responsible for logistics and support during the trip. They will be responsible for communicating with suppliers, managing transportation, advising you before and during the trip, and proposing extra activities.
A coordinator is not a guide as such but rather another travel companion whose role is to ensure that your only concern is to enjoy and make the most of the trip. They will be known to you two weeks before the trip when the WhatsApp group is created. From then on, you will have direct contact with them and can resolve your doubts and seek advice for the trip.
What age range will the participants in this trip have?
This trip will be composed of a small group of 6 to 20 people of a similar age for similar tastes and interests, ensuring the best possible coexistence and experience.
The age range for Nomad Bee tours goes from 25 to 49 years mainly.
How can I get to know my travel companions?
Two weeks before the trip, the coordinator will create a WhatsApp group with all the participants in the trip.
However, if you want to contact your travel companions in advance, enter our Facebook group to get to know each other and stay informed about all offers, new itineraries, and news from Nomad Bee.
Can the itinerary change?
We are almost certain that we are going to do this proposed trip. However, it should be noted that the itinerary, activities, and accommodations are subject to change. These changes may occur without notice due to availability, bad weather, seasonal changes, or other circumstances beyond our control. Occasionally, we may also make changes to the itinerary to try out new ideas and keep things fresh.
How do I get to the meeting point?
The meeting point will be our accommodation in the Tena Valley, in a small village in the Aragonese Pyrenees called Escarrillas, 15 minutes from Formigal. The trip coordinator will be waiting for you there.
Two weeks before the trip, the coordinator will create a Whatsapp group where you will be told all the details about how to get there (your own car, BlaBlaCar, public transport…).
What time should I arrive at my destination?
You should arrive before 19pm approximately at the place and on the day indicated so that we have time to check in and have dinner together.
What are the accommodations like and who will I sleep with?
The accommodation on this trip will be bungalows with a double room and an upper floor with single beds that we will share exclusively with members of this group trip.
What kind of luggage do I have to bring on the trip?
For this particular trip we recommend that you bring clothes such as trousers, gloves or ski coat, thermal T-shirt, neck warmer, hat….
If you have your own equipment it would also be convenient if you bring it along with your boots… if you don’t have it, there is no problem because you can rent it.
And we also recommend that you bring a 40/50L backpack for the rest of the luggage you need.
