Welcome to this Nomad Bee x Guiris de Mierda Thailand Experience. A 14-day, 13-night adventure through Thailand, the Land of Smiles, where we’ll embark on a journey that truly has it all. Temples and a fascinating culture, some of the world’s most paradisiacal beaches, and a cuisine you’ll instantly fall in love with.
Together with our small travel family, we’ll discover breathtaking places like the Buddhist temples of Chiang Mai and its elephants, go diving in Koh Tao, and explore the world-famous Phi Phi Islands. We’ll unwind on white-sand, turquoise beaches like Railay Beach, and dive into the vibrant life of Bangkok, with its bustling markets and nightlife.
One thing’s for sure: you’ll end up falling in love with this country. Are you in?
The trip will start and end in Bangkok. This adventure in Thailand offers us all kinds of experiences—from high-intensity thrills to moments of peace and relaxation. Nightlife, walks among temples and nature, beachside relaxation… get your backpack ready, we’re off!
The physical intensity of this trip is moderate, as we’ll alternate between days of intense walks and more relaxed moments. We’ll have the option to do activities like snorkeling, diving, or yoga, but they won’t be mandatory.
International flights are not included in the trip price, so you have the freedom to choose the flights to Bangkok that suit you best. The important thing is that we meet on the first day around 6:00 PM at the first hotel, where the Group Leader will be waiting for us.
Today we’ll take the chance to get to know each other and have a first taste of Bangkok. We’ll enjoy a welcome dinner to savor its famous cuisine and have a beer (or a few) on the iconic Khao San Road to toast with our travel companions. Maybe we’ll even fancy a Thai massage to relax after the flight?
The adventure begins!
(Arrive at the meeting point on your own, no hassle: the coordinator will explain in the WhatsApp group the easiest way to get to the first day’s accommodation, where we’ll meet all the trip participants.)
(Included: Accommodation. Personal expenses: transport from the airport, meals, and drinks)
After a well-deserved breakfast, we’ll set out to discover the cultural wonders of Bangkok. We’ll start with a visit to the Grand Palace, a complex of majestic temples and buildings. Next, we’ll explore Wat Pho and its impressive Reclining Buddha, over 45 meters long, and cross by boat to Wat Arun with its stunning towers.
To end the day, we’ll take a public boat along the Chao Phraya River, offering unique views of the city, as we head to the bustling Chinatown where we could experiencie an incredible street food tour to learn all about Thai culture and cuisine, and enjoy dinner at one of its street food stalls.
(Included: accommodation. Shared fund: temple entry fees, transport expenses. Meals and drinks not included)
Today we’ll visit the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam, Ayutthaya, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its spectacular ruins and the glorious temples of past eras. A fascinating place that we can explore by bicycle, tuk-tuk, or on foot.
During this journey into the past, we’ll visit temples like Wat Mahathat, home to the iconic Buddha head entwined in tree roots.
After lunch, we’ll also discover other sites such as Wat Phra Si Sanphet with its majestic stupas.
We’ll end the day with an exciting experience: we’ll board an overnight train or bus to Chiang Mai, the beautiful northern capital. Time to sleep comfortably in an air-conditioned berth and enjoy the journey!
(Included: Overnight train or bus to Chiang Mai. Shared fund: temple entry fees, transport expenses. Personal expenses: meals and drinks)
We’ll arrive early in this splendid city and head straight to check in at our accommodation. After a hearty breakfast to fuel our energy, we’ll visit the most famous temple of all, Doi Suthep, located atop a mountain with breathtaking views, before exploring the next temple, Wat Pha Lat, the “Secret Temple” hidden and blending seamlessly with its lush surroundings and the mountains—a truly magical place.
In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a unique activity that combines pleasure with social contribution in a very special setting: we’ll receive a Thai massage at a center run by female ex-prisoners.
Finally, we’ll wander through the night market and other local markets in search of the best dish in Chiang Mai, where we’ll also discover the unique cuisine of northern Thailand and a delicious specialty found only in this region. Can you guess what it is?
(Included: Accommodation. Shared fund: temple entry fees, transport expenses. Personal expenses: massages, meals and drinks)
Today we’ll go on an excursion to an elephant sanctuary, specifically a place where some elephants have been rescued from situations of exploitation.
At Nomad Bee, we believe it’s essential to be responsible with living beings and the environment, so we make sure the places we take you to have a positive impact on these wonderful animals.
After enjoying a meal in the heart of nature, it’s time for an adventure through trekkings and rivers that run through the jungle, leading us to a beautiful waterfall.
Next, we’ll go rafting down the river, continuing to have fun while discovering Thailand’s incredible nature.
In the evening, we’ll relax with a dinner, and who knows—maybe we’ll dance and have a drink at one of Chiang Mai’s liveliest spots.
(Included: Accommodation, elephant sanctuary experience, rafting, waterfall trekking excursion, lunch. Personal expenses: dinner and drinks)
Today we’ll take an excursion to Chiang Rai, where its landscapes will captivate us with their lushness and its culture will immerse us in authenticity.
We’ll marvel at the imposing White Temple, a unique architectural masterpiece. We’ll admire the meticulous craftsmanship of the Blue Temple, where every detail tells a story. We’ll dive into local life by exploring the bustling market and savoring the flavors of Thai cuisine.
In the afternoon, we’ll return to Chiang Mai to continue enjoying its night markets, and if we’re lucky, we might witness Muay Thai fights, a traditional Thai martial art that originated centuries ago.
(Included: Accommodation. Common fund: temple entrance fees, transport, and Muay Thai fight. Personal expenses: meals and drinks)
Gastos personales: comidas y bebidas)
Today we’ll take a boat tour among turquoise beaches and stunning rock formations. It will be a day to choose between visiting the Phi Phi islands or the Koh Hong islands, and also to snorkel and enjoy the vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life of the area.
We’ll explore spots like Maya Bay or Monkey Beach, and we’ll jump from the boat to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Pileh Cove; or discover Koh Hong Lagoon, Paradise Island, or Koh Daeng.
After visiting other amazing places like Viking Cave or Bamboo Island, we’ll head back to Ao Nang to enjoy a delicious dinner with good company, and maybe another relaxing massage after the day’s activities.
(Included: accommodation. Shared expenses: excursion and other transportation costs. Personal expenses: massages, meals, and drinks)
Today we’ll take a long tail boat, a colorful traditional Thai boat, that will take us to Railay Beach, a paradise with dreamlike beaches, spectacular mountains, and wild nature.
A charming place, famous for its beauty and as an international destination for climbers from all over the world who want to practice this sport in such a privileged seaside location.
A Thai massage and a delicious dinner at the night market will be the perfect way to say goodbye to this incredible area that has given us so many wonderful moments.
(Included: accommodation. Shared expenses: longtail to Railay Beach. Personal expenses: massages, meals, and drinks).
Gastos personales: comidas y bebidas).
Koh Tao is called the Diving University for a reason. So, of course, snorkeling and diving are activities we can’t miss on this island. Will you take the plunge and discover its corals and incredible marine life?
We’ll also offer a special route through beaches and nature before relaxing with a coconut and swimming at the spectacular Sai Nuan Beach.
Evening BBQ to share what we’ve seen under the sea?
(Included: accommodation, bbq at the beach. Shared fund: other transports. Personal expenses: diving, meals, and drinks)
After several days full of activities, adventures, and laughs with our travel buddies, it’s time for a lazy day dedicated exclusively to relaxing and enjoying the island’s beautiful beaches under the shade of coconut trees.
We’ll also suggest a tour to the nearby Koh Nang Yuan, home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the region.
After enjoying a wonderful sunset, we’ll go out dancing and say goodbye to this last day in paradise.
(Included: accommodation. Shared fund: other transports. Personal expenses: meals and drinks)
This day we’ll head back to Bangkok. We might have some time for a last-minute shopping for ourselves or souvenirs—how good are we at bargaining?
We can choose to visit one of the most famous markets in the world and the largest in Thailand, Chatuchak Market with over 15,000 stalls, or the Patpong Night Market, offering all kinds of products and a lively night atmosphere.
A few final beers and a toast?
(Included: domestic flight, Koh Tao – Donsak port speedboath, and accommodation. Shared expenses: other transport. Personal expenses: meals and drinks).
It’s time to say goodbye to our travel companions and lifelong friends. To share one last hug, feeling both the sadness of parting and the joy of having experienced so many magical moments and unforgettable adventures that we’ll remember forever.
We haven’t even made it home yet, and we’re already planning the next adventure—such is life.

Are flights included in the fare?
International flights from Spain are not included in the price. You have complete flexibility when choosing which airport and flight times suit you best. You can even arrive a few days before the trip starts or stay on for a few days after it ends.
Can you help me choose the flights?
Of course! If you have any questions about which flights might be best for you, please contact us and we will help you.
We recommend using the flight search engine Skyscanner.com to see all the options.
Remember that we will usually land one day after the departure date (due to flight duration, stopovers and time differences), so you will need to choose a departure date one day before the start of your trip.
How does the common fund work?
The common fund is the money we will use throughout the itinerary for all participants’ expenses such as local transport, entrance fees, extra activities and the coordinator’s common fund. For each trip, we set an estimated fund that may vary slightly depending on the extra activities we want to do or not do.
It is used to facilitate the management of payments at the destination, and food and drink expenses will not be managed with this fund.
On the first day of the trip, the coordinator will collect the common fund in local currency and will be responsible for managing it.
On the booking page with all the tour details, we include the estimated amount of the common fund, which includes the coordinator’s share of the common fund.
Does the coordinator contribute to the common fund?
No, the coordinator’s common fund is covered by the travellers, each of whom contributes an equal share.
What is the role of the trip coordinator?
On all Nomad Bee trips, there will be a group leader in charge of logistics and support during the trip.
They will be responsible for talking to suppliers, arranging transport, advising you before and during the trip, and suggesting extra activities.
A coordinator is not a guide as such, but rather another travel companion whose role is to ensure that your only concern is to enjoy and make the most of the trip. They will take care of everything for you.
You will meet them two weeks before the trip when the WhatsApp group is created. From then on, you will have direct contact with them and will be able to ask any questions you may have and get advice about the trip.
What are our travellers like?
Our travellers are adaptable people. We don’t offer trips stays at resorts in Punta Cana: we’re talking about adventure trips. People who are willing to live and share with strangers who, by the end of the trip, become new friends.
During the adventure, unforeseen events may arise. We hope that none will, but they can happen: a hotel may run out of hot water, a transfer may be delayed, or the weather may play tricks on us. These are things that can happen in many destinations with different logistical resources, and we face them with a good attitude and a sense of humour.
If you don’t think you adapt easily to the unexpected, perhaps our trips are not for you… and that’s fine, everyone knows what works for them.
Can you change the itinerary?
We are almost certain that we will be going on this trip. However, please note that the itinerary, activities and accommodation are subject to change. These changes may occur without prior notice due to availability, bad weather, seasonal changes or other circumstances beyond our control. From time to time, we may also make changes to the itinerary to try out new ideas and keep things fresh.
Which airport should I fly to?
To Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK)
What time should I arrive at my destination?
You must arrive at approximately 5 p.m. at the designated location and date to begin the adventure, so please book a flight that arrives at your destination before 3 p.m. if possible.
What are the accommodations like and who will I be sharing with?
Accommodation for this trip will be double rooms with separate beds shared with people of the same sex. If you are a couple or friends, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you in the same room.
We also prioritise local accommodation outside of large hotel chains, making our experience authentic and enjoyable with our travel companions and new friends, and trying to have an impact on the local economy. A few days before the trip, we will send you a document with all the accommodation information.
What sort of luggage should I take on the trip?
Our trips are dynamic and we will usually make many changes in accommodation and location. That is why it is important to travel light with a rucksack, and on many tours this is mandatory. Forget about the what-ifs. Our experience tells us that you can travel anywhere in the world with a 40/50L rucksack weighing a maximum of 8-10kg.
In Thailand, we also recommend that you bring good mosquito repellent, sunscreen, comfortable footwear that is easy to put on and take off in temples, and of course, don’t forget your swimsuit!
